Experience Kokomo on a comfortable bus tour as you explore the community's unique blend of history, innovation, public art, parks, and transportation improvements. Along the way, you'll discover how thoughtful planning and local investment have shaped a vibrant, connected city while enjoying many of the landmarks and hidden gems that make Kokomo a great place to live, work, and visit.

Tour Route

Constructed in 1891 during Indiana’s Natural Gas Boom and built by industrialist Monroe Seiberling, the Seiberling Mansion still stands today as the Howard County Museum.

Visitors will experience:

  • Victorian architecture

  • Original Kokomo Opalescent stained glass

  • Ornate woodwork

  • Exhibits highlighting Howard County's history

Seiberling Mansion

Founded in 1888, Kokomo Opalescent Glass is America's oldest producer of opalescent art glass.

The company has supplied stained glass for churches, public buildings, and restoration projects throughout the United States and continues to produce handcrafted glass using traditional techniques.

Established in the late nineteenth century, Highland Park remains one of Kokomo's signature public spaces.

Among its many historic attractions are:

  • Old Ben, one of the world's largest tree stumps

  • The Vermont Covered Bridge

  • The Sycamore Stump

  • Rodgers Pavilion

Highland Park

Now encompassing more than 80 acres, Highland Park remains a centerpiece of community recreation, history, and cultural events.

Throughout Kokomo, visitors will discover an expanding collection of large-scale murals celebrating Kokomo's culture, industry, and artistic community. These public art installations have become an important part of the city's revitalization efforts and provide excellent opportunities for photography while showcasing the creativity and identity of the community.
